About Putra Perdana Construction (PPC)
Since its inception in 1986, Putra Perdana Construction Sdn Bhd (PPC) has, besides having undertaken conventional “Build” projects, continuously embark on challenging fast track “Design & Build” projects with special focus on “Green” buildings, while always achieving record breaking safe man hours without Lost Time Injury (LTI), quality work and timely delivery of projects.
PPC has built a wide range of buildings with distinctive landmarks and completed infrastructure projects of various discipline. These include high-rise offices (up to 50 storey) and residential buildings, commercial and retail outlets, government offices, townships, and infrastructure projects such as marine works (wharfs, jetties and container yard), highways, bridges, water supply facilities (intake structure, dam, pipeline and reservoir), sewerage pipes, utility service tunnels and monorail tunnels, among others. The company is also one of the first to incorporate energy efficiency, green and sustainability features in the buildings it construct, making it, one of Malaysia’s most innovative and reliable construction company.
Several distinguished projects built by PPC in the Kuala Lumpur City Centre includes the Pavilion KL, KL Eco City, The Intermark, Serai in Bangsar and Arcadia at Desa Park City.
PPC’s landmark green projects include the Sarawak Energy Berhad’s Head Office, Menara Felda, The Intermark and Menara PJH (Putrajaya) whilst green cum energy efficient buildings include Low Energy Office ("LEO") Building for the Ministry of Energy, Green Technology and Water, the Green Energy Office Building ("GEO") for National Green Energy Centre and the Diamond Building for the Energy Commission; all of which, as applicable, received recognition from Malaysia’s Green Building Index (GBI) as well as overseas green building certification authorities such as LEED from US Green Building Council and the Green Mark from Singapore Building Construction Authority (BCA). The Diamond Building is the first office building in Malaysia to obtain the double platinum rating certification from both Singapore’s BCA Green Mark and Malaysia’s Green Building Index (GBI).
PPC was also conferred the Green Apple Gold Award 2013 for the Built Environment and Architecture Heritage. This award was presented to PPC by the Green Apple Environmental Awards, an annual International campaign to recognize, reward and promote environmental best practice around the world.
As of August, 2016, PPC has secured RM13.2 billion worth of projects.
