Putrajaya Perdana Berhad (PPB) has recently been given recognition at the Green Apple Environment Award 2013 held at Swindon, London on 24 June 2013 for its efforts in the development and construction of Energy Commission’s Diamond Building located in Precinct 2, Putrajaya.

This International Green Apple Environment Award which was launched in 1994 by The Green Organisation is recognized as a prestigious and well established recognition schemes, both in the UK and internationally. The Green Apple Awards scheme was one of the first to be accredited by the RSA as an official feeder scheme into the European Business Awards for the Environment, and is still one of only a handful of accredited campaigns.

The awarded Diamond Building is the first office building in Malaysia to obtain the Green Building Index platinum rating, and the first outside of Singapore to obtain the Green Mark platinum rating.
