More than 80 employees from HQ queued to have their health status checked by National Kidney Foundation Malaysia (“NKFM”) on 11 February 2012 at PPB’s HQ in Putrajaya.

This is the second time KSPPB invited NKFM to provide free basic health check including blood pressure, glucose level, cholesterol and body mass to Putrajaya Perdana Berhad (PPB) employees.

“We were excited to receive more than 30 registrations even before the members of NKFM set up their counters. This is a good platform for us to create awareness towards good health among our employees as we strongly believe that healthy employees are keys to achieve higher work productivity,” said Mr. Lai Chong Haur, Senior Manager for Human Resource and Industrial Relations cum President for KSPPB.

A talk on “Kidney Disease: Common, Harmful but Treatable” was also held at the Boardroom simultaneously to educate the employees on various ways to identify early symptoms of kidney diseases and to keep our kidneys healthy.
